The Boulder House is a residential project I designed in 2021. The house design consists of rustic and aged concrete, sharp rectilinear forms containing negative spaces and interior pockets pushing into the mass. The house sits in a harsh environment of mega boulders and water. The entirety is lifted up over the landscape creating an elgant stance in nature. All colors and textures in the house and surrounding environment seamlessly bleed together creating a fusion of architecture and nature.
